On the humorous side, one might say that everyone from Cole Porter to Christine Lavin contributed to the mix. On the serious side, there are shades of traditional lullabies, Appalachian ballads, Medieval meanderings, sea shanties and a touch of blues. It's timeless, yet timely - hard to describe, yet definitely memorable. Of course, as with all musicians, the musical style(s) has no choice but to evolve as the meaning of the moment occurs.

And so the beguine begins...again.
